| Certified
DM Training |
The
Council of Tribes now offers training for qualified individuals
who wish to be Certified DM Trainers.
Each
year we receive requests to provide DM training in different communities.
We are happy to teach the program and also feel these programs could
be the property of the local community-at-large. We are looking
for individuals who would like to affiliate with us, learn the programs
and provide them to the local community.
About
the Program:
Certified
DM Training is a formal 2 day study in Dungeon Monitoring and BDSM
First Aid. This unique program is designed to deliver two levels
of knowledge: 1) Dungeon monitoring skills and 2) BDSM First Aid
skills. The dungeon monitoring skills are used in community and
play party environments and the BDSM First Aid skills equips the
participants with knowledge of how to handle emergencies in either
the play party setting or in private play.

| Web
Grant Project |
Each
year viable groups spring up and serve their local community. However
due to budget constraints they are unable to afford a web presence
for their group.
The Council of Tribes’ Web Grant Project provides free start-up
and web services for BDSM and Leather organizations who wish to
establish an Internet point of contact
All clubs, groups and egroups are welcome to take advantage of this
offer. Clubs need not be a member of the Council of Tribes to participate.

| COT
Think Tank |
The
COT Think Tank is a development group made up of current and past
BDSM and Leather club leaders. Its' purpose is to communicate with
each other and work on present issues facing our clubs and communities.
The goal is to contribute to the creation of cohesive, positive
communities.
Members
are asked to carefully consider a Community problem set before them.
They consider possible solutions and/or options that may be determining
factors in creating resolution or solving the problem.
Different
opinions are welcome. Light debate and counter-opinions are also
welcome if presented in a respectful manner. However, this is not
so much a place for convincing others but to tap the problem solving
skills and perspectives of those who are now engaged in leading.
All information and work submitted becomes the property of the Council
of Tribes and is used to determine the direction and future development
projects.
In
conjunction with the Think Tank fellows, we author white papers,
create classes and presentations, and provide resources that aid
leaders in making local decisions.
It is a formal way to utilize the collective wisdom of regional
community leadership.
